In 2010 The Walk On Project (WOP) was born in Bilbao, Spain. It was created by Mikel and his wife Mentxu for their son Jontxu. Jontxu was diagnosticated in 2008 with a neurodegenerative disease. Since then, Mikel and Mentxu fight against these diseases with music. With the money they have gotten so far from their music, concerts and events they have been able to start two international research projects. Mikel and Mentxu, we wish you good luck! En 2010 nace el Walk On Project (WOP) en Bilbao, creado por Mikel y su mujer Mentxu para su niño Jontxu. Jontxu fue diagnosticado en 2008 con una enfermedad fatal neurodegenerativa (leucodistrofia). Desde entonces, Mikel y Mentxu luchan contra las enfermedades neurodegenerativas con la música. Con el dinero que consiguen con su música, eventos y conciertos han conseguido ya dos proyectos de investigación internacional. ¡Os deseamos mucha suerte Mikel y Mentxu! ¡Sois un ejemplo a seguir!
