The everyday fruits transforms

You know how when you are little your mom would tell you to not play with your food?? Dan Cretu must not have listened too much because he has grown up to be an artist capable of transforming the regular everyday foods into everyday objects. He turns delicious fruits like oranges into cameras... It is actually kinda difficult to make, because he has to work the material while its still fresh. But the end result is really cool. Check it out!

¿Os acordáis cuando vuestros padres os regañaban por jugar con la comida? Dan Cretu no debió hacer mucho caso a lo que le decían sus padres. El artista rumano transforma la comida en objetos de toda la vida. Es bastante difícil de conseguir, porque tiene que conseguir usar el material mientras sigue freshco! Aunque el resultado merece la pena! ¿Qué os parece?

IKEA UK + Barbie

I don't know about you, but when I was little I had one of those huge Barbie houses with little futniture ...My Barbies had a ton of clothes, many different boyfriends, from Ken to ActionMan, and kids, Shelly and Tommy. My beautiful Barbie was very much like a modern super mom!!

That is exactly what IKEA UK has done for their new ad, play dolls IKEA style!! She is a working mom and a party girl all in one.

Way to go Barbie!

Yo no se vosotros, pero cuando yo era pequeña tenia una de esas casa de Barbie enormes conpequeños muebles y todos los complementos ideales de Barbie, su ropa, sus miles de novios (desde Ken hasta Action Man)...y quien puede olvidarse de sus hijos, Tommy y Shelly. Mi barbie era una autentica madre moderna que lo tenia todo, incluido el escarabajo rosa fucsia!

Esta es la idea que han debido de tener tambien los de IKEA UIK, porque es exactamente lo que han hecho con Barbie, jugar a las muñecas al estilo IKEA!

Barbie es una madre soltera de lujo y una fiestaera de locura!! Si señor, Barbie!!

Colorful canopies of umbrellas

Patrícia Almeida was the one to capture these beautiful photos of the streets of Agueda, Portugal. Last year, the streets of the city were covered by these umbrellas and they have repeated the installation this year with brighter and stronger colors. It looks so pretty!
