McDonald's simplest ad yet

TBWA Paris has developed the newest marketing campaign for McDonald's. The ad is as simple as it gets. No words, no lines, one little yellow McDs arch in a corner of the ad and a picture of one of McDs best products. 

We started seeing it with Facebook, Twitter, iOS...and now with McDonald's. More and more they are trying to follow the "simple" icon strategy. Say the most, the simplest way! 

TBWA has explained the campaign as "exclusive, simple and universal, just like the six iconic products". These simple icons might work for the apps in our phone, but, is it maybe too simple for a company like McDonald's? 

Personally, I like the icons, but I'm not completely sure if it fits with McDs image...what do you think?

NIKE-fuel map

To encourage walking instead of using the subway, NIKE has redesigned the city of London to see the distance between stops. I will be going to London soon...who knows, maybe I try walking!

Para promover andar en vez de usar el metro, NIKE ha rediseñado la ciudad de Londres mostrando la distancia que hay entre paradas. Voy a ir a Londres en breve, así que, quien sabe, a lo mejor ando!

Crazy about...Pixar Typography

Designed by graphic designer Rachel Krueger, these posters illustrate some of the best and funniest sentences from the Pixar movies. From the famous “Just keep swimming” of Dory, from Finding Nemo, to Buzz Lightyear’s “To infinity and beyond”…they are all here!

Crazy about...Philographics

Two weeks ago I posted about Albert Exergian's iconic TV series' posters (see here). Today, I wanna keep going with this new style I'm loving and introduce Genis Carreras, a Spanish graphic designer. This guy has created a concept called philographics, very big ideas in very minimalistic designs.

Crazy about...iconic TV posters

This month, I'm crazy about graphic designer Albert Exergian's designs of iconic TV shows. These posters are minimalistic but so cool. I am redecorating my bedroom and his Sex in the City poster has become a MUST in one of my walls. I love them! 

Me he enamorado por completo de los posters de legendarias series de televisión que ha creado el diseñador gráfico Albert Exergian. Son posters super minimalistas pero super chulos. Estoy redecorando mi cuarto y el poster de Sexo en Nueva York no va a  faltar en mi pared. ¡Son geniales! ¡Me vuelven loca!
