fighting wars

There comes that time in life when we wonder about our lives. We look at what we have gone thru in the past and imagine what our future will be like. As human beings, we have the capacity of thinking and rationalizing; of going beyond with these thoughts, letting them invade us, and not always, in the best of ways. These same thoughts can trap us in our worst fears and nightmares, they throw us down and sometimes, they even drive us crazy. The more we know, the more we think, after all:
“ignorance is bliss”
The fight against one’s own fears is the greatest of all. Passing exams, tests or interviews are easy task we have to face every day, but fighting our minds and hearts is not just any task. Every once in a while, we discover those dark thoughts inside us and we let them grow inside, eating up the good moments and the beautiful memories.

How do we fight back?
How do we return to that happy place

We must find out our fears to fight them, I know it sounds a little "movie-like", but it's true. If you find what you fear you can control it and you can learn from it so you can fight it again in the future. Look out for anything that might cause your anger or sadness and try to avoid it. If you can't do so, try to find a happy place to hold on to, or rely on one of the pillars in your life. I have always said that everyone has three basic pillars in their lives:
      1. Family
      2. Friends
      3. Work or studies
If your family fails you, go to your friends, they'll be there when you most need it and they might even surprise you, new and strong friendship might appear out of the blue. If your friends act out on you, you can go to your family because family is family and they will support you no matter what. As for work or studies, if that is not working out at the moment, don't worry, karma will kick in and your hard work will soon show and you'll get back on your feet. My mom always says that "everything, except death, has a solution", so remember:
EVERY PROBLEM COMES WITH A SOLUTION

I know it is hard to fight one's own fears, but you can do it. Take your time to find your way, because rushing into something might hurt the process and, of course, yourself. As humans, we are able to love and hate, but do not forget, we are also capable of growing within, learning, fighting and finding our inner peace and our outside equilibrium. With patience and help from loved ones, we can fight anything!!
Never forget that!
